Wisdom Tooth Surgery *
My very first surgery in my life.. and I certainly hope its the last. After 3 days of torturing, I finally went to the dental clinic. Everything was fast I would say, didn't have much time to make the decisions. This was what happened...
I waited for 1 hr, think some patient was also having the extraction. So when its my turn and after taking a look at my teeth.. the dentist confirm its a wisdom tooth that needs to be removed. So he gave me the choice of removing it today or some other day.. in order not to waste the car fuel, I chose today. So he went on to explain the risks involve.. and concluded that my case involve much higher risk than other people. *Peng* And then come the needles.. I think there are 5 to 6 injections.. anesthesia. The dentist ask me wait outside while they prepare the equipments and I need to eat some pills. I touched my face.. practically the whole left side of my face was numbed.
When I re-entered the room, the dentist called out to another dentist saying this is a more difficult case. *Again.. peng* Then, I was blindfolded and the surgery began. He extracted my 2 left wisdom teeth and there were 4 stitches. Not a bit of pain at all.. the anesthetic needles are the cruel ones. That's it! He passd me my 2 bloody teeth and I'm out of the room.
Next week still have to go back to remove the stitches.. but I'm looking forward to it. The dentist was young and good-looking =p. I think the anesthesia is wearing off because I can feel the pain coming bit by bit. I shall go to sleep.
